Story Overview:
A minor Arachnos civil war erupts as a High ranking Commander (Alex Weller) attempts to kill Black Scorpion.
Point of Note
Chrome Spider Program: A program that has begun under the order of Black Scorpion. In order to achieve better, deadlier troops, Scorpion has ordered his scientists to advance research into Cybernetics with the intended goal of creating a cy-borg with all the memories and experience of a human but under the control of a computer (think Robocop and how Directive 4 prevented him from being able to arrest the company guys)
What am I talking about? The Chrome Spider program is a program that Black Scorpion has started. He intends to build better solders. I'm figuring that getting this project compleated will be a driving focus for Scorpion for the inital part of the story.Later, when Weller's coup fails and he is captured by Scorpion, Weller himself is used as a test subject for the Chrome Spider program. This will be the apex of the story. The loss of Weller's humanity and utter subjigation by Scorpion.
Scene
Scene 1:
- Spider-city, Grandville. Early morning
- An Arachnos hover craft glides in on the early morning winds and lands
- The door opens.
- Commander Weller exits
- Bane spider 1 exits
- Bane spider 2 exits
- Bane spider 3 Exits
- Bane Spider 3 collapses into a pool of his own blood
- A villain who had been waiting for the hover-craft snickers “You clowns should learn to use your medi-beacons” he says as he runs to the hover craft, stepping over the injured Bane Spider.
- With a gust of back wash, the Hover craft lifts off.
- Commander Weller looks up at the Hover craft and raises his fist in anger. “Destined scum! If it weren’t for you, we would have Medi-beacons!” Weller hollars at the transport.
- Weller turns to look at the injured Bane Spider. He points to the other two banespiders. “Help him to the med unit.” He orders.
- The two Bane spiders help the injured spider to his feet and carry him off.
- Commander Weller goes to report to Black Scorpion.
- Weller: “My lord, we suffered several casualties and one man has been seriousl…”
- Scorpion: “Did you retrieve the computer files?”
- Weller: “Yes my lord”
- Weller hands a disk to scorpion.
- Scorpion: “You’re dismissed commander”
- Weller Salutes, turns and heads to leave.
- As Weller leaves, Scorpion activates a terminal.
- Scorpion: “I got the files.”
- Weller stops momentarily and looks over his shoulder at Scorpion.
- Weller thoughts: [You got the files?!]
- Weller Walks out of the room.
